Good point. Would appear to indicate that BB knew there had been an attack which is why she shot.

Lots to learn from such an incident. Here are some things already mentioned and I think pretty legitimate.

1} Wear visible clothing; orange vest, etc. {This one seems legit regardless of an attack in light of the very brushy terrain it seems these critters are hunted in.}

2} Don't shoot unless you can fully ID your target and know where every other person is.

3} Never expect a leopard to me miles away!!

1. On all the hunts I have gone on they (PH or whomever) really promote to where Kaki or green to blend in when you are chasing buff or whatever through the bush..don't get me wrong..I agree totally with you..as we are required by law to wear orange here when hunting in the fall--at least an orange vest...but anyway, the "natural colors" seem to be what they request their clients to where..another item in this however is the fact they were chasing, so a more colorful clothing attire might have been in order.

2.. Man --how many times have we all been told that --there was actually an archery instructor from Wisconsin hunting elk here a few years ago--and if you can believe this, he heard a noise in the brush and fired his arrow into it..hitting his friend in the throat and killing him...oh, did I tell you he was an archery instructor??? WOW..

3. AMEN....

Take care
