There are so many oddities though Shakari, e.g. last October, hunting boar in France, one chap
didn't bring his rifle as it was a .308 which he knew was the old Nato round. The police informed him in France that they would have had no objections as long as he had a letter from the people where he was going to hunt saying he was carrying it for "sporting purposes". Also a .30-06 was a
miltary calibre but I have never heard of anyone not being able to carry one ??!! best, Mike
