Beytell said all the successful bidders met the Ministry’s requirements, one of which is that they must have a minimum 20 per cent shareholding by previously disadvantaged Namibians.
BS- the so called PH that's registered on the foreign based company that bought the first rhino, are NOT a big game PH. And the rhino went for N$ 1.775 million, with a 10% escalation per year. It is sad that MET allowed companies with just 20% Namibian shareholding but based entirely outside of Namibia to attend the auction. The 3rd rhino was also indirectly biought by suchj a person, as the company that bought it is also in bed with Thormalen.
