Well, not exactly my safari plans, but funny things happen around the campfire. My father went to S Africa with me for my safari in August 08… After a hard day of hunting my father and the owner of the outfit star chatting it up about how my father was a construction worker in a past life… long story short, My father is going to work for him for the month of March as a handy man, in exchange for room and board. I joke about how going there to work and not hunt and it is like going to the bar without ordering a drink. Needless to say I’d love to be in his shoes. Just goes to show you that even in a bad economy a month in Africa can be done.
