If you choose the 'right' hunting outfitter [and that's NOT Andrew McLaren Safaris!] a lion hunt, oops I mean shoot, can be done in one day!
It is precisely these PH's who will tell you that a lion "hunt" is a 21 day affair - so as to boost income from daily rate fees. 
Most unfortunately it is also very true ofthe few real HO's who can and do offer ethical lion hunting - it is something that to stand a good chance you do need time!
If some of your dreams come true, and you do find yourself looking seriously for an ethical lion hunt, please ensure that you select an outfitter of the second type.
