Wow..we have gone from Cape Buffalo to Dairy bulls... Gotta love it... As to the Dairy bulls...I think almost without fail, any of the dairy breeds were not to be messed with..The angus and herefords we had were for the most part very docile.. Darryl.. The craziest story I can tell about a holstein was -we..my dad, brother and I were trying to get one loaded onto a farm truck with the cattle rack sides on...so it was 6ft from bottom to top of the bed of the truck..we finally got the bull up the shute and into the truck..the crazy sob, reared up and put his front legs over the top and leaned forward..completely demolishing the cattle rack portion...then jumped off of the truck over the metal frame portion of the grain box the cattle rack was attached too..had to be a good 10 ft.to the ground-- he fell to the ground..not breaking a leg or anything..only more pissed off this time...he started busting the crap out of everything in his site..corrals, old truck, etc...he finally succumb to a barage of bullet fire from my brothers .243 and my .303 british..---hey, we were farm kids..we only had those two high powers and a .22 rimfire...so, yes...they are totally nuts...
