Breaking bones?

When I am shooting whitetail, especially culling does I always shoot for the shoulder!! When my present club gets these animals we usually just take the backstraps, tenderloins,and hindquarters when the local churches/shelters don't express any interest--

Several years ago one deer club I was in culled over 100 doe ever season.I left that club because the buck to doe ratio was so bad.
