I agree, I wouldnt hesitate a shot at 100 yards with my .458 that I would take with my .375 ruger. From a decent rest that is. They both shoot very well at 100 yards, but the .375 starts to shine beyond that. The trajectory of the .375 ruger stacks up favorably againt the .338 on reasonable long range shots.
