I have used the .243 for everything from Canadian Whitetails to antelope to black bear..and have had no problems with any using primarily Noslers in 100 gr weight..with the velocity the .243 runs at, the Nosler Partitions are a very good choice as stated by others above.. Other options would be,, Barnes makes a 85 gr Triple shock...Remington makes a 100gr Cor-lokt Bonded bullet and Swift makes a 90gr Scirroco --all these would probably work as well, but with the hog thrown in the mix,,would probably choose the Triple shock if I was not using the Nosler Partition... Federal also offers factory loaded Triple shocks for the .243 as well... Ripp |
