There is a really good book available by Robertson on shot placement--offered by Safari Press--as to what I used..I placed one shot about 1-2" in front of the ear on the hippo--for the croc--basically right behind the eye about an inch and up about 1 inch-- will get the job done ---my 200 gr A-Frame-had dramatic results...the croc didn't know what hit him...
