anyone heard of this Tanz. company
|

I am doing research on a buffalo hunt and came across this company Kilumbero North Safaris owned by Miombo Safaris. A guy I hunted water buffalo with in Fla Joe Bannon of JR Hunting says he is a licensed PH in Tanzania and has worked for them for 10 years.
As anyone hunted with them or know of them?

Miombo Safaris has an excellent reputation. It is owned by Michel Mantheakis and Scott Coles. I have not hunted with them, but I have spoken with Michael at length and was impressed by his honestly and knowledge.

If a PH or safari company you've never heard of or have questions about merits your consideration, the best thing you can possibly do it to obtain a recent client reference list and either call those references -- every one of them -- or e-mail them. Calls are better than e-mails!

They hunt the Kilambaro swamps which make for an interesting hunt with unusual means applied to conduct the hunts. Envision a sea of reeds interspersed with channels of water and no trees.
