Most Of the big game that I shoot is usually 100 yards or less, but I would like the ability to shoot longer. I've bought a lot of new rifles this past year and I'm really getting in to shooting a lot more. I would like to start practicing at longer ranges with my 300RUM. What type and brand of scope would you guys reccomend for med to long range shooting, say 500 to 800 yards? And Why. I have a Nikon 3x9x40 on it now, and I'm shooting pretty decent out to 300 yards.
