1} freefloat barrel
2} epoxy bed the recoil lug
3} relieve the tang
4} fix the trigger

I favor them, and do essentially every one of the above to every one. All of these jobs are easy and demand about the same skill necessary to open a can of beer with one hand while scooping a fistfull of peanuts with the other, once knowing what exactly to do, that is.
