If you don't mind you have to let me know what you are using for loads--I am tinkering with a .264 myself.. and have been using 129 and 140 gr bullets--it is currently shooting about 3/4 inch at a 100 but I plan for it to do better..

I also recently purchased a 6.5/284 in a Target Savage for 1000 yd comp. this summer... have wanted to do this for a very long time. As the Savage is not very expensive I thought this would be a good place to start and if I liked it I upgrade from there..
