You might want to check with Remington --I know they still offer factory sights on the model 700 BDL--also it should hold 4 in the clip and one up the pipe--

Also they have special 50th anniversary offering in a laminate wood --nicer looking but no open sights--which you could have installed--all this in a 280 anniversary model.
