The Leupold Custom Shop is currently making a custom 6x for me. I used the 6X36mm as a base just due to the fit it had on my custom 6.5X55 that will mimic a 1920s English Stalking rifle. It will eventually have custom calibrated knobs and it has the German #4 rect. I think the fixed power needs to come back. The ability to learn ones rifle and ranging with a fixed power will increase for accuracy and effectiveness.
