Rick Jamison and Scovil did a lot to popularize the 9.3x62 ctg. and case (as a .375 in Scovil's area).
: It's about time this case became popular and people woke up to the delights of the blown '06 case. When I picked up that old Mauser in 9.3x62, I merely took my previous .375/06IMp brass, necked it down to take the .366" bullet, creating a false shoulder and fireformed them. Shoulder diameter is identical & the '06 case makes passable 9.3x62's. Excellent round with 270 Speers at 2,600fps. or 286gr. at just over 2,500fps.
