I've used a 9.3 (either 9.3x62 or 9.3x74R) on each of my trips to Africa. Loads using the Swift A Frame 250 gr. bullets at a mild 2450-2500 fps worked well.

LOVE the performance experienced so far on animals from Steenbuck to Eland. Even does a nice job on white tails here in the north country.

Recently got a 9.3x64. I'm excited about the potential and can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can test the loads I've put together for it using the 286 gr. North Forks.

The 9.3x64 will stay mine and my wife will go to Botswana on our plains game hunt armed with her 6.5x55 and my former 9.3x62.
