I have a hunting lease buddy that uses one. It's a VZ24 that was sporterized back in the sixty's, I think. (Not one of the new crop) It is quite accurate, he prefers to neck shoot deer, and does very well with the rather anemic Rem factory fodder. Being a Mauser fanatic, I've tried to talk him out of it on several occasions, but the best I've done he's promised to "will" it to me...
