Hmmm... I thought that was the case as well. Bought one here in Australia in 7mm08 as my go to light weight deer hunting rifle.

So far it has not shot a good group but I have not finished with it yet. But its certainly not an instinctive shooter like my 3 Tikka T3s which have all shot factory & handloads very well.. IMO they are every bit as tough, shoot better at half the price.

I get the impression, not only from my limited experience but from other shooters, that the modern American factory rifle is struggling to match the accuracy out of that cheap, basic but very functional Finnish rifle. Obviously there are always exceptions.
