I don't handload and rely on factory stuff. My Krieghoff was regulated for RWS 286 soft points. I don't like the bullet at all. It seems to be very soft and fragments on Whitetail.

I recently tried the Nosler loaded ammo. It's a 286 grain partition @ 2300 ft/sec. It shoots to the same point of impact as the RWS. It appears a little tighter in group size. but so far anything I've shot went clean through. Hence no spent bullets to see how well they faired. I haven't found schrapnel at all so the bullets must have held together.

Hopefully I'll get a chance at something bigger soon and will find out more.
