doc, The Swift A-Frames are tough and hold together well. The problem may lie in their selection...250gr or 300gr, no 286gr! With the slower velocities of the 9,3X74R, most bullets do just fine. I have had excellent results with the inexpensive Speer 270 Hot Cores. All they lack is snob appeal, and they are every bit as good as the Norma Oryx, maybe better. Again, they are not 286gr and may be a bit difficult to regulate in a conventional DR. If you want to work up a DG load for softs, the 300gr A-Frames are my choice. (the Win 375 shoots well, BTW) |
