I hunt primarily with a 270 Win., 300 Win. Mag., 338 Win. Mag., 375 H&H, and 416 Rem. Mag. In recent years, I've hunted with the 338 more than I have anything else. Most of my rifles are well-built custom rifles that are made to seriously hunt with, and I don't have any desire to abandon any them just for the sake of experimenting with some new and redundant cartridge, especially when I have many years of experience and a thorough understanding of these primary cartridges. But I do see the Kimber 8400 Montana as a very solid, well thought-out, well-built rifle. I also see the 325 WSM as a solid nitch cartridge that would be tremendous on various Alaskan and Canadian hunts, as well as local elk hunts. For that reason, I intend to acquire one of my own......... AD |
