I agree that the 325 WSM was introduced to sell more medium bore rifles to us guys that already have that catagory of rifle.I have a 338WM I enjoy.

I wouldn't buy one for that reason. Why bother?

I do have a 300 WSM I enjoy. It is 7.5 pounds with scope, is shorter,handier, and lighter in the hills than my 300 WM.

I sold that 300 WM without regrets.The 300 WSM works better for how I hunt.

Would I use the 300 WSM for 300+ yd shooting? NOPE.I have a 300 Ultramag for that, but it is great for adequate knockdown power for different scenarios as a hunting rifle.
