The T3 Varminter in 270 shouldn,t be too bad in terms of recoil but as 500 Nitro says - do you actually need the 270 for varminting? Maybe a 260 Rem or 6.5x55 would be better and if what you are using it on is not too big, even flatter shooting would be a 25-06.

Whatever caliber though, the rifle is a good one!
