Well I hunt a lot in the woods, and lets me tell you, its not going to be a problem. I had an old 4x Ziess on a 6.5 x 55 since the early 1980's. No problems what so ever. My closest shot was 10 yards, my farthest one just about 400, I had better eyes then. A fixed 4x Leupold will serve you well.
