Thanks guys for all of the compliments, I've been out of town until tonight and have had no access to the internet. I bought the rifle from Bass Pro Shops who picked up 37 out of the over 100 hunting rifles of the Tom Lindahl estate. They have many other "Rifle Ranch" rifles that were built for Tom; I picked up this one because of the Pre-64 Model 70 action and because I have always wanted a .375 Holland & Holland. It has a five-panel checkered bolt knob, and the bolt feels like it is riding on ball bearings, very smooth.

Does anybody know what species of walnut the stock is made from? I'm guessing Enlish walnut.
