Hello,

I thought the standard twist for the 74r was somewhere between 1-10 and 1-14, with the faster twist better for heavier bullets? Why would Ruger build their new No 1 Sporter with a 1-20 twist? Am I missing something?

I was really looking forward to getting one of these, but will the slow twist stabilize the standard 286gr slugs?
