I've had great luck accuracy wise with the 400gr Woodleigh .411" soft. I've shot a wildebeest and a white tail doe with that bullet (how's that for diversity?) with no complaints from either. I believe Woodleigh also makes a 300gr bullet that would probably do for most animals you should pester with a single shot but the 400gr does hit hard. The throat on my rifle is too long for really good accuracy with the 300gr unless I seat them out, it works perfectly with the 400 seated to the canelure. But it's a custom barrel not a factory job. The Hornady bullets are prone to losing the jacket from what I found shooting into jugs of water. Also Barnes makes a 300gr X that is very accurate but i've not shot anything with it.
