That 240 grain pill must be an awfully long bullet. Not sure what type of velocity you would get from the 300 H&H using it. Rate of twist in a production model 300 H&H might be a little too slow to stabilize well, but I don't know.
I think the 300 H&H performs its best with 200 grain bullets. Can't really see any reason to go heavier than that. I'm of the mind if you need a heavier bullet or better constructed bullet for the 30 cal magnums than the 200 grain Nosler or North Fork, I'd probably go up in caliber size...
