thanks for the suggestions. I was mulling the 9.3 for a while as well as the 300 H&H, both classics.

what is the practical range of the 9.3 where bullets will mushroom reliably?
also, in the 300 H&H, is there any reason that woodleigh's new 240gr bullet for the 30-06 wouldn't work?
