I cannot disagree with the BRNO Mod.2 nomination. It's certainly a worthy contender. I own a very nice example myself, along with a Winchester Mod.320 made on an Omark action, and an Anschutz. Hard to pick between the three.

HOWEVER.... They all fall in line behind a lovely little W.P.Jones sidelever break-open rook rifle chambered for the original BP .22 rimfire cartridge. Shoots modern standard-velocity cartridges very well. Folding sight-leaves for 100 and 150 yds!

Just marvellous!

So it's a matter of personal taste...?
