bulldog563 You MUST loc tite the screws on both rings and mounts otherwise it will be a continual problem. HOWEVER, before loc titing, make sure you use a bore sighter/ colominator to get the cross hairs as close to 1" high as possible BEFORE you loc tie - that way when you do final fine tuning of the scope at the range you are not winding the cross hairs a long way. The other thing you may want to do is get the rings aligned correctly and maybe even polished out so they are 100% smooth - the quality control nowadays is not what it used to be.
