One of my mates when I was a kid was given a 788 in 222 by his old man. I heard his dad telling my dad that it fell off the back of a truck. It beat me up for months thinking how lucky they were to see that thing fall off a truck and pick it up till I expressed that to my dad and he told me what it meant. Solid little rifle though.
