You have a great rifle and a wonderful father in law. If you don't hunt, the rifle should make you want to - Holland and Holland made some of the finest rifles in the world and still do. If you want specific information on your gun the British gun trade has it's own forums and you could register there and get the information that you want on your gun;s history from them.
