to expand on what I have said. The Picket Post Trijacon Triangle. Use the point of the triangle for distance/accurate shooting, when close and need to be fast just cover your POA with the triangle.

With any coloured Dot sight if it is starry then it is an eye condition, I forget what it is called but I am now starting to have the dots in my aimpoints appear starry.

With my first Aimpoint, it was on a 35 Whelen, I use to shoot the 500 mt metal silhouette targets with it, all in the heart lung area of the animal, this off a bench. So the dot does not have to be small to achieve accuracy at distance, but something like a 4MOA dot will be a hinderance at range.

As I get older, I find the Trijacon getting more use than the Aimpoint in low light or heavy vegetation as I can't see the game as well as I use to.
