Thanks for posting. I had never heard of a sticky stork nor talley rings breaking.

I have a 2021 Browning X Bolt (7mm PRC) with aluminum Talley rings. So far, all is well and hopefully I don't experience what you did. I also recently put Talley aluminum rings on another rifle. I did tighten them fairly well (did not use a torque wrench, just feel of my hand tighten).
