Never seen Talley's break? Had them peen up in the rails where I couldn't stop them moving on a Brno ZKK & that was in 7x64!
I have a few different QD rings, never had any issues except for that problem until I got the correct set with the rear leg peg to stop everything from moving.

What are you going to redo your stock with M&9?
