For his high school graduation I told my oldest son I'd get him a good deer rifle & scope. We went to a gun show around the time...and this was 32 years ago. He picked out a new Model 70 XTR in 300 H&H. We scoped it with a 6X Leupold and he worked up a load for it that is scary accurate. I watched him put 5 rounds into just under 7/8 of an inch at 100 with that rifle. It is rock stock.
