Decent article. Some really wild claims, of course, but sometimes that is how people remember lucky shots.
I had a .25/06 for a while - cheap model Ruger with the plastic trigger guard. Can't remember the model. First load tested put 5 into .625".
Got bored with it and sold it at the next Rod and Gun Gun show. I might still have the dies, though. I once had a .257 Robert's Improved.
Now THAT was an impressive round with a Shilen barrel on a 98 Mauser.
The .25/06 has quite the boiler room for a small bore.
