In Canada, you will see no rifles, match or otherwise with suppressors on them. The military likely has a few, though. The muzzle brake on the English Sniper Rifle I shot out at our range, in .338 Lapua ($10,000.00 for the rifle and $5,000.00 for the scope) had a very effective brake. It's felt recoil was less than the Vangard .243 I was shooting that day. However, it blew my hat off the bench beside the one I shot that rifle from, with it's bipod. The hole I put onto the fellow's target, 1/2 mooned the hole he put on it after installing the scope. It was only at 100 meters. |
