I just received a new Shilo sharps in 50cal percussion. I may try my luck at deer with it just because i can. i have way to many rifles to say i have a go to rifle. We have a generous deer season here so it gives me a chance to use several rifles. Daryl I have been working with an English sporting rifle in 65cal. I be leave that equates to a 16 bore. It actually be rifled for slugs.
