The starting base is one of the very first Remington SA produced circa 1973 in this caliber, an interesting n.i.b version with a medium weight stainless steel barrel, virgin of any shot.
The rest of the story is just a gunsmith hobby to make it the dream tool to purge the vermin.
In the end, not much remains of the original rifle except its wonderful barrel that brings out the 20gr Norma V-MAX at 4200 ft/s in a single ragged hole.
There's not a fox who will complain!
