That link has some good pics of the original "cloverleaf" and the rounded tang that is still used in current production. Your gun is a late transition period and they typically have what is called the "rabbit's foot" safety with the flat and drilled rear receiver. There is another name for that safety type that I can't remember. I have a 300 h&h that is almost identical to your 7x57. They are gorgeous working rifles!
