With proper bullets and loading, the 1886 can take any critter that walks or crawls.

And loaded down with 300 grain soft points, they are good deer rifles.




That's great info and a fine looking rifle.. congrats..

Have always been told and read 2150fps is the magic number for large bore rifles..this only reinforces that information..

AND its unique.. would love to see the look on my PH's face when I showed up in Tanzania with a lever action..
