Quote:Quote:Quote: The Americans don't re-invent new over-tech rifle designs, they just keep re-inventing older and better cartridges with new versions and names so they can sell consumers their one hundredth rifle doing nothing more new than most of the previous 99. Euros often with a limit of firearms which can be owned seem to be looking for always multi barrel rifles and options. With driven hunting the old Mauser 98's are "too slow", and semi autos are often banned or discouraged. They seem to love ridiculous over engineered plastic pieces of crap nowadays ... Give me an old Mauser 98 action and a good side by side double both over one hundred and twenty years old and the cartridges almost as old and I am happy ... |
