Creedmoor is a good cartridge. It fits a niche and it works well for what it's supposed to do.

.308 is a good cartridge. We all know all about it.

I won't likely be fiddling with Creedmoor in any of my own rifles before either I wear out a .308 barrel or someone gives me a Creedmoor rifle to own and shoot.
I don't think it will be any time soon that I wear out a .308 barrel.
