In the past, foxes were shot with .17 Remington's as they didn't damage the pelt
but pelts aren't worth much nowadays.

Now they are shot with anything from .22, .222, .223 (Very popular), 22-250, 243
or whatever you have in your hands !!!

Roos - professionals seem to use .223's but they are shot with anything.
