Just did, posture related (mostly). LOL Best is to watch a BR match, and emulate what you observe on their posture, attitude to the gun and target, heights of rests. Foot position, angles, breathing, just as important as when position shooting, your head position and angles, due to equilibrium upset with too much angle. That is why Olympic shooters stand straight, neck straight - maintains better equilibrium, but all is a compromise to keep rests as low as possible, without leaning over too far. Gun position on the bags is also important. More than a few guns have "sweet spots", closer to the action, further down the forearm, due to the way they vibrate and/or react to and on the bags. Consistency of hold is very important, the "duplication" of that shot to shot, is one of the most important factors to good groups. It all matters and needs to become second nature, an automatic system. |
