I posted this as the model 71 Winchester has intrigued me for years.. as luck would have it I found one recently that should be in my possession soon... really looking forward to it..one owner.built in 1951--great condition.. and yes, I do plan to take it out a time or two --open sights, hunting elk in the timber, fresh snowfall ...sounds like pure heaven to me..
